Ultimate Hip Hop Reunion is Deans second addition to the Ultimate Reunion Series for 2025.

We've shown this artwork in a number of local markets and festivals in 2025 to obtain feedback from people in person before we launched online.  It's an absolute hit for Hip Hop fans!  

It's a challenge to include every icon in a single image, but like the entire Ultimate Reunion Series this painting captures the spirit of a culture that has legendary history, undying inspiration and an unmistakable nostalgia.

As with all paintings in this series, Dean has taken time to include details into The Ultimate Hip Hop Reunion that true fans will appreciate.

Dean started working on this painting in early 2025.

After the success of many of Deans rock and pop music artworks, The requests for Hip Hop artists came thick and heavy.  This artwork was developed over 6 months of design and painting to create a unique piece that celebrates a rich music centred culture.

This painting is not a statement on who is important and who is not.  Think of it more like a photo that was taken at a reunion.  It's a (imaginary) captured moment.  There are so many more that deserved to be included, however adding more would have lost the magic and detail of the scene and caused the image to look more like a 'Where's Wally' image than a candid moment.

• Avoid hanging in direct sunlight - whilst the canvas is UV resistant, extended exposure to direct sunlight can affect colours and generate fading

• If your canvas becomes wet, wipe it down with a soft cloth.
